From the home of The Lions to Lions Seat

After some last minute 'fear of leaving' nerves (on Ginny's part, not Duncan's) we set off for Gatwick around 6.30pm on Wednesday.  Around the same time the following day, we finally landed at Cape Town International Airport.  Not the fastest way to Cape Town, but beggars can't be choosers and the upside was that we landed the same time as Paula, who we are staying with in CT, on her way back from a work trip to Jo'burg. An hour later and we were sipping wine looking over the ocean in Camps Bay.  Heaven.  And it then dawned on us that our trip has really begun...not only will we be becoming overly familiar with the 567 movies offered on Emirates inflight entertainment, but we are about to have the biggest adventure of our lives.  And the Cape certainly isn't a shabby place to start. :) As we leave for Port Elizabeth tomorrow, we took our one day in Cape Town to climb Lions Head,  blowing away the cobwebs and providing a great antidote to a near back-bre...
